CODE OF CONDUCT

Our principles

Throughout the specialty coffee journey, from production and distribution to the final handover to the end-consumer by our customers, we develop sustainability performance protocols to try to meet or exceed the requirements set forth by the ten principles of the UN Global Compact.

These are derived from the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the International Labour Organisation's Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work, the Rio Declaration on Environment and Development, and the United Nations Convention against Corruption.

Code implementation

Operating within the boundaries of a code of conduct helps ensure compliance throughout our entire value chain. We collaborate closely with our suppliers to verify that all provided information aligns with our standards

To ensure compliance at the very start of our value chain, all our direct suppliers are responsible for ensuring that this code is followed by all of their direct suppliers, vendors, agents, and subcontractors.

When there are indications of non-compliance, we work with the supplier to establish a corrective action plan with a reasonable timeline that enables them to achieve full compliance with the code of conduct.
